Group Rides

If you wish to take part in the group rides, you must be a paid member with the membership form and waivers completed. Our insurance coverage and affiliation with the Ontario Cycling Association makes this a requirement.

Other than that, all you need is a properly working bicycle suitable for the type of cycling you wish to do, a water bottle or some other form of hydration storage, and a properly fitted helmet!

GROUP RIDING TIPS – Mostly deals with road cycling (sprinting, pace lines, etc) but some of the principles here can be applied to trail riding as well. Group ride leaders and cycling veterans will share their knowledge, so don’t worry.

Be sure you dress comfortably and for the weather. If you can, pack basic repair tools like a patch kit, pump and multi-tool. They aren’t required, but a good idea!

Oh, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!
