Marc Antoine Nadon hot off winning the Canadian National Under 19 MTB championships in Camore 2 weeks ago qualifies for the Canadian National MTB Team and a chance to compete at the World Championships at the end of August in Switzerland. Congratulations to Marc Antoine.
Marie Pierre Nadon also a National Champion in the girls Under 17 category will have to wait till she is older to make the trip with her brother to the Worlds.
The brother/sister team has won numerous Canada Cup and Ontario Cup races in the last 3 seasons and Timmins should be proud of these young atheletes

This Tuesday, 630 pm at the snowmobile club we will continue the TT series. Many of our riders continue to participate in triathlons around Ontario and want to have more TT training. Challenge yourself, come out and join us.

Looking to organize a weekend MTB ride, we can meet for breakfast and then head out on a longer ride. For example Tatachapapika road is a great ride or Kettle lakes. Just give me an email with some ideas and we can plan a group ride.
Just had a call from Ron Lapointe, organizer of the triathlon, tells me swimmers and runners are looking for people to bike with them. Interested in making a composite team just contact Ron Lapointe through the Heart of Gold Triathlon web page and he can hook you up for this weekend.
June 28th TT rained out. The next Time Trials will be July 5th and July 12th. Both will be held on Kamiskotia Hwy at 6:30pm. The Heart of Gold Triathlon is fast approaching so you have 2 more chances to practice your set up. The results from the first TT are in Microsoft excel xlxs 2007 format for those who are trying to open it.
Starting this Sunday June 26th the road ride from Northern Sports will be leaving at 8:30AM. The weather is getting warmer and the group would like to start earlier. This will free up the rest of the day for a second work out or some kayaking. We had a great ride to the Cache on Sunday, 60km, maybe this weekend we can try another route. Remember to bring enough water and a snack.

Great turn out for the first TT of the summer. Eleven riders challenged the windy 22km coarse on Kamiskotia HWY last Tuesday evening. No one beat the 30 minute target time. Maybe Rick Dagenais or Guy Chenier will bring a more arrow set up for next week’s ride.
